Matt Morgan

Tim Germadnik and Matt Morgan were  6 and 11 years old when they first started swapping Atari 2600 games back in 1981 when they lived a block away from one another in Live Oak, TX.  Both Tim’s and Matt’s parents were members of the Whoosits Big Pile Goodtime Garbage Band who have played festivals, fiestas, and cook offs in the San Antonio/Hill Country area for well over 25 years. Continuing the tradition of playing “family style” the guys put together a band to open for their parents during 1993′s Night in Old San Antonio festival and have continued the tradition in some shape or form ever since.  In 1997 the guys were once again living down the street from one another but this time deep in the fat of South Austin listening to the likes of all the Texas greats including Doug Sahm,  Robert Earl Keen Jr., Lyle Lovett and South Austin favorites such as  John Dee Graham, Toni Price, Damnations, and The Gourds.  With their band, The BarnDanglers, the guys would cover the best South Austin had to offer often taking it back down to San Antonio confusing most of their SA metal head bred buddies.
