Leon Waddy

Leon Waddy has been playing music professionally for over 13 years.  He studied music composition and played piano in the jazz ensemble at Trinity University.  In addition to playing guitar and piano for Poor J. Brown, Leon is better known for his work in the band Skunkweed.  He has recorded and played with various artists and is notorious for off-color poorly-prepared acoustic shows.  Leon wrote the majority of songs for Poor J. Brown and is getting recognition for his songwriting skills in addition to musicianship.  During his career Leon has been lucky enough to play Gruene Hall, Antone’s and has shared the stage with Ian Moore, Bob Schneider, Robert Earl Keene and many others.
